St George and the Dragon

On Weds 27th April Chickasaw Beavers renewed their promises and learnt about St George and the Dragon. They then decorated a massive dragon which looked fantastic ! Harry Yates also told us all about karate and gave a demonstration to earn his Sports Badge.

Cyclist Badge

The Beavers worked towards their Cyclist Badge on 20th April. As always this involved games as well as learning (about how to wear a helmet correctly, what sort of safety equipment is necessary when riding a bike, and how to pump up a tyre), and amazingly even included the Beaver’s sitting in a straight line for once ! Once the Beavers complete one task at home they can receive their badge.

Tonight the explorers have started their community project planting seeds to grow into the plants that we will put in the planters by the parade of shops and the chemist. Stotfold won’t win Britain in bloom but it might look a bit more cheerful!
