Christmas Shopping Afternoon

Festive Fun! The Christmas Shopping Day at the Scout Hut on 29th November was fantastically fun and very successful! A truly well organized event that had a vibrant community feel to it. Amazingly over £650 was raised for the scout group!

This event is just one of several events / fundraising ideas organised by Sarah Passey as part of her fundraising for the London Marathon 2015 with all money going directly to the scouts. Great work! 🙂

Another reason is to archive the paper-writer.org work so as to use in the future.

Jumble Sale – October 2014

We had a very successful Jumble Sale on Saturday and raised over £400.

Many thanks to all the ladies who came along and helped. They turn the whole day into an adventure by arriving early in the morning to accept and sort the jumble, then eat their sandwiches and finally sell all the quality stuff we have.

Also thanks to John for organising. See you all again in April next year!!

Sponsored Walk – 2014
