Welcome to 1st Stotfold Beavers
Are you aged 6 to 8?
The Beaver Scout motto is ‘Fun & Friends’. Lots of games and trips will make sure you have plenty of each! You will be able to make things, sing songs, listen to stories and visit interesting places. You might also be able to go on a sleepover, where you spend a night away from home with the rest of the Colony.
We currently have two Beaver Colonies in the 1st Stotfold Scout Group. Cheyenne Beavers meet on a Tuesday night between 1800 and 1915, and Chickasaw Beavers meet on a Wednesday night between 1800 and 1915.
Beaver Scouts learn about themselves, exploring their feelings and developing good habits of health and personal safety. They get to know people, finding out about people in their family, the family of Scouting, the local community and the wider world. Beaver Scouts explore, discovering the exciting world of science, nature and technology, exploring the natural and man-made world. Beaver Scouts care, growing in their love of God and responding to the needs of others, the local community and the wider world.
