Welcome to 1st Stotfold Cubs
There are plenty of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like archery, climbing, shelter building, computing, fire lighting and community activities. If you do them well you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform. Cub Scouts also go on trips and days out to exciting and interesting places. All Cubs will have opportunities to go camping at local Scout campsites. This involves sleeping in a tent and doing outdoor activities over a weekend.
The Cub pack meets on Thursday nights during term time. In recent times the two historic Stotfold Cub packs (Comanche Cubs and Cherokee Cubs) have merged into one evening, but if we are able to secure more adult volunteer leaders then it is possible that the section can expand to run on two separate nights and more young people in Stotfold will be able to experience the excitement of being a Cub.
